You would think that as you saved them from certain death your crew would be willing to go above and beyond to help you! That is not always the case, more often than not they will complain about being hungry and even develop insanity! You need to take care of them and the hardest part of this is dealing with the food situation.
You need to send crew member out to explore, but more often than not they will end up dying! I found this to be a bit frustrating and could not really figure out exactly what I needed to do to get them back to me. Or perhaps pick a crew member to do something.As the game is set in space, you can go to planets where you can interact with life there and try to get supplies. Other times you may have to pick a certain tool for a certain job. I made it to day 44 as my highest, but I have heard some folks can get to day 100! The game will through decisions your way, it can sometimes be as simple as a yes or no answer. The whole idea of the game is to survive for as many days as you can. Once you make it to the escape pod the real game begins. If you do not make it to the escape pod, your game is over before it even starts.
